I do not see any of the hotels in Charleston area offering golf
packages. Is there any way of accessing a golf package in the Charleston
area?

Evelyn - If you go to the Golf section of Southeast Getaway and click on
the graphic or
Click Here link in the right hand column in the section that says Golf
Specials, you can select in the drop down boxes in the left column first
by area (Southeastern, US) and then City (Charleston) to find current Golf
Packages.

You Golfers are awfully quiet compared to the other travelogues in the
site. How about telling us your experiences on the courses around
Charleston such as Wild Dunes or Kiawah Ocean course. Perhaps you have
been to a recent tournament and can share your thoughts. Or maybe you
particularly like or dislike a hole and need to tell others why. Whatever
the reason your thoughts will help others.

Hello from Bonnnie Scotland!! My son and I are going to be doing an RCI
exchange to a great resort on Edisto Island. We are both golf fanatics,
but, also, we are both students (myself of Divinity at St Andrews
University and Peter William of Golf Course Management). We'd love any
help with planning affordable golf (even better if in the company of
others) and with the best places to eat on a budget. We are both members
of the ancient St Andrews Golf Club, and so could help anyone who plans to
visit Scotland. We are SO excited about this trip. Hope someone gets in
touch.
