Newly opened on June 8, 2002, the Marine Science Center provides an innovative learning experience where visitors of all ages can discover, enjoy and appreciate the many wonders of marine science. The center houses a gift shop, whale, mangrove, mosquito, and sea turtle exhibits, as well as sea turtle rehabilitation facilities along with a 5,000 gallon artificial reef aquarium,  static and interactive educational displays.
