Call the pro shops for tee times. All clubhouses offer a fully stocked pro shop. Turtle Point, located in the
center of the island, carries an array of unique resort clothing lines made exclusively for Kiawah Island
Resort.
Golf Lessons & Clinics
Private & Semi-private Instruction
The Resort's staff of highly qualified PGA professionals and Apprentices are available to provide individualized or small group instructions on a daily basis. The staff stresses the fundamentals of golf and strives to find specific drills, images, and thoughts to help improve your game of golf.

Daily Clinics
Clinics begin in early March and run through mid-September and topics will vary daily. There are two clinics offered: - Intermediate/ Advance Golfers --focuses on improving the golf swing mechanics, course management by providing practice drills and pre-swing images. Time: 9 a.m.
- Beginner Golfers -- the clinic not only stresses the basic swing, but rules, etiquette, and important information that one needs to know to play the game. Time: 4 p.m.

Video Swing Analysis
Video analysis provides instant feedback and appraisal of your golf game using computerized graphics, voice overlay, before and after illustrations, plus comparisons to some of today's top tour players.

Kiawah Island Golf School
A multi-day gold school that includes morning instruction on the driving range, video swing analysis, daily playing lessons, and personalized written materials to take home. For more information about rates, schedules, and/ or corporate schools, contact Steve Mitchell at ext. 6024.
Junior Golf Clinics
Classes are held Monday through Friday and are designed to provide fun and educational learning environment.

Golf Courses
The Ocean Course

This spectacular course, designed by renowned architect Pete Dye, has received world-wide attention as
host of the 1991 Ryder Cup Matches and the 1997 World Cup of Golf. Also, named "America's Toughest Resort Course" by
Golf Digest. Located at the eastern end of Kiawah Island, The Ocean Course negotiates along 2
- miles of pristine ocean-front property.
Turtle Point

Selected as #44 on the "Top 75 Resort Courses" by Golf Digest. Turtle Point was
designed by Jack Nicklaus. The course is highlighted by three spectacular oceanside holes that present a
golfing challenge, as well as, beautiful views of the ocean. In addition, a variety of foliage and marsh
areas make Turtle Point unique. The course is a popular setting for amateur and professional
tournaments.
Cougar Point

Opened in the Fall of 1996, Cougar Point is the newest addition to Kiawah Island Resort's lineup of four
signature courses. Designed by Gary Player, the par-72 layout features holes playing directly along
broad expanses of tidal marsh, offering panoramic views of the Kiawah River and acres of needle rush and
spartina grass. Cougar Point is designed to test the scratch player while providing and enjoyable round for all.
Osprey Point

Designed by Tom Fazio, Osprey Point opened in 1988 and is situated in a variety of settings including
lagoons, marshes, and forest of pines, palmettos, oaks, and magnolias. The course features special
emphasis on monguls throughout the golf course, which make for challenging play. Just opened in
February of 1997, the Osprey Point Clubhouse overlooks the Tom Fazio-designed Osprey Point and is
home to a luxurious pro shop, dining room and lounge, and men's and women's locker rooms.
Oak Point

Located one mile outside the main gate of the Resort, this Scottish-American style course boarders the historic Haulover Creek and the Kiawah River. Oak Point was rated among "America's Best" by Golfweek Magazine.
