We are considering staying at the Hartford Motor Inn in Cherry Grove in July.
Any comments from anyone who may have stayed at this motel? Any suggestions on
other weekend places to rent in Cherry Grove? North Myrtle? I'd surely
appreciate any advice! Thanks! Tracy
We will be visiting Mrytle Beach in July 1998. We have reservations at the
Seashore Hotel-Oceanfront. I was just wondering if anyone had any information on
this particular hotel. I just want to make sure it's going to be clean! Thanks
Hello all, just some suggestions for lodging in Myrtle Beach. We have stayed at
the "Breakers,Sandcastle, and Carribean". All 3 were nice but the "Breakers" had
the nicest appeal. The rooms were not as nice as the others, but they were not
bad in anyway either. But the pool, and outside ammenities were hard to beat. It
was not a concrete palace. Lots of grass and palm trees around and places to
find shade when needed. Also 3 nice places to eat within walking distance.(River
City Cafe,Dirty Dons,Bum's)If you have kids then Myrtle Beach is one great
destination. If you get board there it is your own falt. There is so much to do
you couldn't mention it all in one day
HI, I;m going to myrtle beach in august 99 I would like any comments on places
to stay. that has kid activities. It's me and my husband and 4 kids ages 2 thru
13. Please help with current information.
HELP!!! I'm looking for a 3bedroom 3bath condo or townhouse for August 1-7. We
have 4 adults and 4 children. We would like something not too far from the
pavillion area oceanfont or oceanview. POOL is a must as the 2 boys age 5 and 7
are water rats. Are there any private owners out there? we are very family
oriented. Our husbands golf every morning while us girls shop or hang out at the
beach. We are non-drinkers and do not smoke. Accomodations must be CLEAN! We
previously stayed at the lanmark which is GREAT, but we had to get seperate
units to accomodate us. So I think we can get a better price for a condo. HURRY
PLEASE AS TIME IS RUNNING OUT!!! THANKS.
Rented a clean, 2 bedroom 2 bath oceanfront condo off a web site called Vacation
Rentals By Owner. Our site # was 221. Nice people from Connecticut. recommend
you give it a try.
6/8/99 We just returned from Mrytle Beach after spending a week camping. We
enjoyed Lakewood Campground (great pool), rented a car from Thrifty (which they
picked us up and bought us back to the campgrd ), and really loved Broadway on
the Beach. Broadway had everything to do there, especially the dining and
nightclub spots. Also we went to the Dixie Stampede, great fun for the price and
went to two tapings of the Crook and Chase show at their theatre. The tickets
were inexpensive (10) and the taping was fun and entertaining. More info check
the Crook and Chase site on the web. We loved Mrytle Beach and will return
again.........
We were in mytrle beach on vacation in june of 1998.We just loved it.We went
back in march of 1999.And now we are going back in july.We just love this place
.And we are now looking to invest there so if any one any info on that let us
know ASAP Rich-Cathy Cousins.
My family and I are planning to visit Myrtle Beach within the next two weeks.

My family and I are going to MB in 2 weeks. Has anyone stayed at the Beach
Colony Resort? If so, how was it. Do you have any suggestions for fund things to
do?
Last year we visited Myrtle Beach for the first time, and had such a great time
we are returning again this year, my question is, is their anyone out there that
can give me info on metal detecting on the beach? Any special rules and
regulations that I should know about? I am new to the hobby. We stay at the
Lakewood Resort, which I might add is a very excellant place stay. If anyone can
help with the info that I need please e-mail me at stampede@servtech.com, Your
help would be much appreciated. Thanks Bob submitted 6/7/99
6/7/99 We are returning to Myrtle Beach again this year in August. We go almost
every year and have stayed in so many different places it is hard to remember
them all!I wrote to the travelogue a couple of years ago concerning the fact
that we had never really stayed in a place we would really like to return to.
Last year we stayed at the Sands Ocean Club and enjoyed it immensely. We have
reservations this August at the Long Bay Resort. Hopefully it will be a nice
place. If anyone has stayed and would like to share some insight it would be
appreciated. This will probably be the last place we will try. If it is nicer
than the Sands then we will have finally found a place to keep returning to. If
not then we will go back to the Sands and relax at Ocean Annies Beach Club for
years to come Thanks Roddy
my family and I will be coming to MB in Aug. . We have a 30' travel trailer what
is the best campground on the beach. How is the pirateland
Has anyone stayed at South Wind's Villas - going in July. Just wondering if it's
a nice place to stay. Please reply!
It is the season for Myrtle Beach and my family and I just can't wait! My
husband and I have been going to Myrtle for 18 years and it's the BEST! We
always stay at the Patricia Grand on the strand. The hotel is great!! Every time
we go it's like they have known us for years. The service is the best, the
employees are very friendly and go out of their way to please you! One time I
remember we got there and they didn't have a room for us,well the manager came
to the lobby and said how sorry he was for the inconvience and that he said I
will make room for your family and I will take care of it myself. After 15
minutes passed, he came back and said the room is not the one you wanted, the
room is a upgrade, but for your inconveince the price of the room will be the
price of the room you wanted, does that sound good to you? And I said that would
be just fine with us!! So we got into the room and it was great. If I had a
choice between Myrtle Beach and Florida for a vacation the choice would be
MYRTLE BEACH. Take a chance and you will love it. Tommy Sue Adam,OHIO
We're planning our 1st trip to Myrtle Beach in Aug.99 Does anyone have info on
the ADMIRAL MOTOR INN on Ocean Blvd? W are looking for an oceanfront motel with
just the basics but must be clean. Looking for an economy type motel..no resort.
If you have any comments please e-mail me at jac116@webtv.com. Thanks a bunch.
My family and I are planning to stay at South Wind Villas in July. Does anyone
have information about this resort. I want to make sure that it is a clean and
comfortable place to stay. Thank you!
I just visited Myrtle Beach after my graduation from May 22,1999 - May 28,1999.
I stayed at the Coral Beach Resort for the first time, since my family usually
stays at Ocean Creek Resort. I had a wonderful experience at Coral Beach Resort.
The staff was very friendly and most helpful. The clearest advantage of this
resort over Ocean Creek are more luxuries for less money including a very CLEAN
facility, a restaurant, health club and spa, 6 pools(1 indoor)and 4 hot tubs(2
indoor), bar, bowling alley, arcade, and a few clubhouses. They truly have
something to interest all people! I stayed in an ocean view room that had an
absolutly gorgeous view of the ocean. The kitchens in the rooms were more than
adequate for cooking. The cleaning staff was most friendly and very prompt with
service. As a whole, I would say this is the BEST resort that I have stayed at
in 18 years in Myrtle Beach. I would recommend it to everyone who loves to have
a good time in a nice and clean family environment!
please send me any and all info. on myrtle beach for vacation purpoeses. I would
appreciate your indulgence. thanks Garrett howard
Me and three of my old highschool buddies are going to MB for a long weekend in

Please email me with any responses at bennyandthejets@yahoo.com. Thanx, Ben
5/25/99 We want to find a beautiful place to stay for our honeymoon. It would be
great if we could find a romantic spot to be married, too. We prefer more of an
adult atmosphere than a family one. Not that we don't like kids, we have a great
7 year old son. Just want romance and memories of our 1st days together-married.
Looking for maybe a honeymoon package or wedding deal? Want to be directly on
the beach and watch the sun rise and set. Want it to be spectacular and
pampering. Want lots to do as a couple. Any ideas? Please let us know A.S.A.P.
We will be there end of June thru July 3 or 5,99. Thank-you.. rsmith@qwksilvr.com

cancelled reservation? I made reservations there and never could get them to
send me a comformation with an amount due on it ,I did not want to get there and
have someone tell me it would be more money so after about 5 tries at it , I
finally just gave up and cancelled and went back to the hotel we usually stay
at. Also they asked for 200.00$ deposit,we have been coming down there for about
20 yrs. and I've always just had to pay the last nights rent for the deposit.any

I went to Myrtle Beach lat year (98) for the very first time. My husband is in

The Anderson Inn is the stay from hell, May 12 thru 16 1999, Myself and husband
plus 2 other couples where going on vacation to Myrtle Beach for our first time
and had planned for a great vacation and instead had that much pain and
suffering and stress it was unreal, not to mention the dirty, rooms no toilet

Our family will be vacationing in Myrtle Beach for the first time this summer.
We have 4 teenagers and would like to be where there is a lot for them to do. We
were thinking about the Windy Hills/Crescent Beach or Shore drive area. Any
ideas? Also, we haven't had much luck finding available condos with 3 bedrooms
and an outdoor pool. We plan to go the week of June 26/27...so if anyone has one
available, let me know. Thanks!
WARNING!!!!!!!!!! We just returned from our second trip to Myrtle Beach. We were
MISSING our Sony Walkman and were very disappointed in in the CAPTAIN'S
QUARTERS. Somethings have definitely changed. Upon arriving, we checked into our
room, only to find out that it was not clean and in need of repairs, for $80.00
per night, I expected more. So we ended up paying another $10.00 a night for an
acceptable room. During our stay our Sony Walkman WENT MISSING from our locked
room.(It was the only item left out of our locked suitcases because we changed
the batteries.) I guess I have more in people. The CAPTAIN'S QUARTERS would NOT
compensate in anyway, they say they are NOT RESPONSIBLE for any thing that goes
missing from your room. WARNING if you intend to stay at the CAPTAINS QUARTERS
BE PREPARED TO LIVE OUT OF LOCKED SUITCASES FOR THE WEEK. Luckily we kept all of
our money with us!! Not a great way to spend your vacation!! We will never stay
at this location again!! I hope this helps someone else.
We are visiting Myrtle Beach for the first time and have reservations at the
Oceans in Cherry Grove. Has anyone had any experiences with this condo? Please
let us know. May 10,1999 Thanks, cota@tusco.net
We are planning to come to Myrtle Beach the week-end of May 22, 1999. Can you

My brother and I are traveling to Myrtle Beach for the first time on Memorial
Day Weekend. We will be staying at the Long Bay Resort. If anyone has stayed
there previously or knows of another web site with a similar bulletin board as
this-would appreciate greatly. Also which are the good nightclubs for 30
something single people in Myrtle Beach. Thanks
we have been visiting myrtle beach for 7 years. we stay at the Brigadune on
Shore Drive in North Myrtle Beach. All condos are oceanfront, we stay in a
2-bedroom, fully-equipped condo. We have stayed at Water's Edge and also at
Sands Beach Club and Brigadune is the best by far. We would definetly recommend
this place to anyone. One hot spot you want to make sure you hit is Dick's Last
Resort at Barefoot Landing(the shame of barefoot landing!!!!!!!!)
I have been vacationing at MB since I was 5 years old. We have stated
everywhere. Our most recent visits have been at Tropical Winds and Captain's
Quarters. They are both super places to stay. I love MB and have to go every
year. I see something new every year. I have a son who is 11 years old. He has
been going since he was 2 and he like I enjoys it too. It's a great place to be
for fun and relaxing. The only thing I wish the rates would stop going up. When
we first started going my day paid 18.00 a night. We stated at the Yachtsman the
first year it opened and the rooms were 32.oo a night. Years later we paid
100.00. What happened to the good ole days? I LOVE MYRTLE BEACH.
Looking to rent a house somewhere in the Mrytle Beach area for July 2000. Anyone
who knows places and how to contact them please email me information .thanks
Hi my name's Joel, and my family and I are going up to Myrtle on Vacation.. I
was wondering if There was any attractions/things to do for skateboarders i.e
Skatepark, skateboard shops... If you can reply it would be greatly
appreciated... Thanks.. Joel
I just returned from a horiable vacation, I have been coming to Myrtle Beach for
many years and up untill this year have alwasy had a good time. We have been
staying at the same resort these past years as well. We won't be doing that in
the future. Vacationers BEWARE !!!! DO NOT STAY AT THE SEA MIST RESORT!!! I had
a totally horriable vacation, i was lied to about what I would be recieiving in
my so called" family package" the attractions that were in the package were
closed down the week i was at the beach, Both myrlte waves and the family
kingdom were closed. So i paid extra for a family package and did not get what i
promised. I was also told there would be 2 family dinners that week, guess what?
there were none!! I asked to stay in the Jewel Building botom level, well i was
crammed into a small dirty hiden in the far corner with a great view of the
motel 8... I paid over 400.00 just for the sea mist, then had to spend a bunch
more entertaining the kids since the parks were closed.I have tried 5 times to
contact the manager of guest relations to at the very least get an apology out
of him, really I think its only fair that I get a partial refund, but I wont
hold my breath, but he wont even contact me to say he is "sorry"... So
vacationers BEWARE AND STAY AWAY FROM THE SEA MIST I DONT THINK THEY RUN AN
HONEST BUSINESS!!!!! JANINE HANKS 5-7-99 LEXINGTON, NC
possom trot, man o war, long bay and belle terre were ALL beautiful

a small well kept clean motel is ideal. I have stayed in the Breakers and the
Sea Mist, and the Boardwalk. The Breakers is the only one I would return to. LEW

If you're going to Myrtle, you've got to go to DICK'S. Ask for Mac!
I forgot to mention the Conch Cafe on the beach in Surfside Beach (south of MB)
from where I stay, it is usually a short walk, and you can go there for lunch in
your barefeet and baithing suit and eat on their deck overlooking the beach and
the ocean. It has to be one of my favorites! how could I forget. The food is
reasonably priced, I recommend the Shrimp Po'Boy... really good. Watch out
though, mixed drinks are incredible, and you'll pay upwards of 6 bucks per glass
-- but they are well worth it!! DON"T MISS IT!
I've been visiting the Myrtle Beach area since I was 12 years old (I'm not 27
and married). I continue to visit every year for so many reasons. My husband now
loves the MB area, but since I was about 16, we started staying a bit south of
Myrtle Beach, in either Surfside Beach or Garden City Beach area. These 2 places
are only minutes from MB ( about 15 for Surfside, 20-25 for Garden City) and
they are SOOO much less crowded and much cleaner in my opinion ( not that MB is
dirty!) The beaches are less populated, and on the whole, rentals are cheaper.
We have always either rented a house or condo, thru either Surfside or Garden
City Realty. I'd recommend anyone looking for a place to visit them online --
the condos have washer/dryers and pools (usually) along with a kitchen which
helps if you don't want to eat out. I like to avoid hotels as they are usually
crowded. Anyways, as far as eating out -- I'd like to recommend my favorites --
some of these I've eaten at almost every year since I was 12... First -- GO TO
MURRELL'S INLET if you like seafood (south of garden city, about half hour 40
minutes from MB) It is basically a fisherman's town, with tons of good
restaruants. It gets crowded at nite, so get there early or make reservations.
My fav. places in murrells inlet are: FLO'S(cajun and spicy seafood, gator and
such), BOVINES (all around good stuff) ANCHOVIES (seafood, burgers, and more)
and DRUNKEN JACKS(only average food, a bit pricey, a long wait, but GREAT
atmosphere and nite life, along with a good view of the sunset!!!--esp. great on
the 4rth of July, our usual haunt is here) okay, out of murrels inlet, on 17
south of garden city is KYOTO JAPANESE Steak house. IT IS by far the best
japanese food I have had in MB. Great prices, but MAKE a reservation at least a
few days to a week in advance. ASK for the pits in the middle (3 sunken tables)
They cook teppenyaki (sp?) really really really great! Also, if you like Ribs,
try DAMON's in barefoot landing -- not as good as they have been in the past as
far as service, but the food is still good. As far as buffets, if you like salty
southern cooking, there is a place on 17 south past garden city (about 30 min.
from MB) called THE BACK PORCH. You have to look for the big billboard. I'm not
sure if they are still open, I heard they may be closing last year -- but if
they are there, they sure are GOOD! Visit Huntington Beach State Park for a nice
quiet natural beach day, or Brookgreen Gardens if you like
nature/flowers/sculpture. I have much more info if any one needs, email me!
Heading down again this year on the 3rd-10th of July, so hope to see you
there!(amynewcomb@yahoo.com)
Wanted to stay at Crown Reef but waited to late to get reservations for 4 adults
and 2 children. Want a reasonable priced place with a lazy river. Any ideas?
Could you please send me some brochures on your vacation rentals to Myrtle
Beach. Thank you, Chris Lee My present address is as follows:
We will be going to MB the last week of July 99. We currently have reservations
at the SeaCrest Resort. Has anyone been there or seen this hotel? Please let me
have any comments you have good or bad. Thanks. Harry & Kathy
My family and I will be heading to Surfside Beach the week of June 27 - July 4,
1999. We are staying in a privately owned house and would like to know where
there is a swimming pool that we could have access to for that week. Are there
any hotels that offer pool access? Any help would be appreciated.
Dated 04-27-99 My favorite things to do in Myrtle Beach were The Maze, Grand
Prix, The Pavilion, and Broadway at the Beach.
I go to the beach every year during bike week. It is just great, really wild! I
stayed at the Forest Dunes last year. They have a really nice place, the people
there were very friendly. This year I'm staying at CAPTAINS QUARTERS. I was just
wondering what kind of place this is? Please let me know if anyone as any
comments. Thanks

Just go back from myrtle 04/18/99. Played 6 rounds in four days and played some
beautiful courses. We stayed in condo units at Pawleys Plantaion. The rooms were
very comfortable and well kept. We did find he southerly location inconvenient
to the most popular restuarants though. We played Caledonia, which I thought was
one of the most beautiful courses we've seen in the 18 rounds /3 yrs. there.
True Blue is also a great course, I would reccomend both. Pawleys platation -
the holes over the marshlands are as dramatic as any you would see on the PGA
Tour. Also a very nice course to play. Played The Legends Heathland. A nice
course but not that easy to play.
Does anyone know if the bon villa still exists or is open for guests?
Hi!!! My friends and I would like to visit Myrtle Beach this June for the first
time. We are having trouble finding a reasonably priced, yet nice place to stay
and could use suggestions. Please e-mail me if you can help us. Thank you!
We love Garden City Beach, been coming here for 10 years, and planning to retire
here within a year. We make sure to catch bike week (59th annual this year)
sponsored by Harley Davidson- we have met the most wonderful friends over the
years at bike week. Great times, no trouble, lots of "welcomes" from local
businesses. It's usually the second full week in May- if you love cruisin' on
your bikes and meeting great people-- with lots of sunshine, it's the place to
be.
We love Myrtle Beach. We try to make it at least once a year. This year will be
our 18th visit. Word of warning...DON'T stay at the Quality Inn near the pier
and pavilion. We had things stolen from our room, found our towels on the floor
of the bathroom, toilet paper (the whole rolls)left in our sink, and a
management staff that seemed totally uncaring about the whole ordeal.
Housekeeping even entered our room while the "Do Not Disturb" sign was on the
door. Nearly every chair at the pool was broken and the hotel itself had a funny
odor. All this for $700.00 for the week! WE highly recommend Ocean Forest Plaza.
Clean,affordable,and a friendly,helpful staff.Located a bit north of all the
action but worth the drive.
Could you please tell me of some oceanfront hotels near the Pavilion that are
nice ones to stay at but at reasonable prices? thank you! Melanie
Hi everyone: We have reservations at TROPICAL SEAS OCEANFRONT HOTEL for June of
99. If anyone has any comments about this place please let me know. Thanks a
bunch.
I'm interested in any information I can get on the Tidemaster condos. Thanks!
We are a family of 4 (2 children 8 and 12) and are on a very tight budget. We
would love to visit MB again this year but cannot seem to find accomodations
within our budget. Sea Mist is out since we plan to be there 4 days starting on
8-1 and they only book 5 or more nights stay. Please, please, please help us out
so we can make this summer one the kids will enjoy. Looking for a one room
efficiency with two double beds and a nice pool area near the beach.Nothing
fancy but cleanliness is a must. Thanks in advance for your help!!
I had gone to Myrtle Beach as a child and had not been back for years until I
got married July 1996. We stayed at the Carolian. This place was nice. Only
couples and families, no screaming teens, security was great. We did stay in
North Myrtle 1998 at the Blockade Runner, was affordable and clean. Would return
to either hotel again. Places to eat Crabman's with the red roof and Seafare in
Murrel's Inlet. Well worth the money it is our anniversary dinner each year. To
add the Court Capri is a nice hotel my parents stay there each Sept. If you have
any questions please email me.
Does anyone have any info on the Tidemaster condos? We are planning on staying
in Myrtle Beach in June. Thanks in advance for any input!
I am planning a trip to Myrtle Beach in the 3rd week of August, 1999. I need
advice on a really nice place to stay. There will be 3 adults and 1 child (age
2). We need a kitchen and a good view of the ocean and of course it has to be
clean and have a courteous staff. We are thinking about the Landmark Resort,
Ocean Forest Plaza, Coral Beach and Beach Cove. Any other suggestions? Also how
are the places that I've mentioned above if anyone has been there recently. I
need to know soon so I can make reservations. Thank you. Jaime Palmer. jcpalmer@uiuc.edu.
5/13/99.
Our first beach camping experience was at Myrtle Beach Travel Park. The
facilities were ok with the following exceptions: sites were very narrow and
bathhouses were dirty and did not stock soap or towels for hand washing,
something I expect at a private resort! We plan to camp at MB again, could
anyone suggest a cleaner campground?
I live in Hawaii but am originally from Richmond, VA. This summer (6/19 -
7/3/99) I'm going to VA to visit and my mother, 1 of her female friends, and
myself, are going to Myrtle Beach from 6/21 - 6/25/99. I know Hawaii is
beautiful, but I do enjoy going home and "getting away" with my family! We
currently have reservations at Cherry Grove Manor and have never stayed in
Myrtle B. before. From what I've read it seems like the North end is a nice
place to be. I would greatly appreciate email from anyone who has stayed at
Cherry Grove Manor - need comments on this. We don't know if we've picked a good
place or not. Thanks! Happy vacationing! -Jill B., Aiea, Hawaii
We have always stayed at the Breakers Motel, and spent 10 days last fall. The
people are very friendly and want to please. I would like their phone number
since we lost all our previous information. We are planning to be there May 1,
and leave on May 3. Thanks for your help
Could anyone suggest a hotel or whatever that is $550 or under in North Myrtle
Beach? I would like to stay 3rd row or better. I have been there about 13 times,
but this time I am actually going by myself, so planning is a little harder. It
is a great place!
We are interested in the SAND DUNES resort In M. Beach We have 3 kids age
10,8,4. My hubby wants to golf all day and we want to just hang out. Is this a
good choice for a family??
First time to Myrtle Beach (April 8th - 11th, 1999) HERE IS MY EXPERIENCE WITH
MYRTLE BEACH (A LITTLE LONG BUT INFORMATIVE) I wanted to fill this out because I
read these travelogues while planning my stay which I feel helped me........ My
girlfriend and I decided to spend a few days in Myrtle Beach the Sunday before.
We chose it becuase the forecast (www.weather.com) was to be nice that weekend.
Since neither of had stayed there I spent several hours on Monday on the
internet at
http://www.segetaway.com/MyrtleBeach/LodgingList.html looking for nice
places to stay. We wanted to be on the beach and becuase it was a last minute
vacation which needed to planned inside a day, we decided to stay at a resort
hotel since I felt would be easiest. After reading several horror stories of
some old worn out resorts on the Grand Strand, I reasoned the newer a place was
(no matter how it was run) would be good since I was more worried of staying in
a run down place than bad service. I started calling all the resorts I found on
the logging web page and ended up accidentally talking to a Myrtle Beach travel
agent who lives in the area. She also recommended staying at a newer place since
they would probably be the most decent as far as cleanliness. In particular, the
resorts she recommended to me were the Yachtsman (probably the nicest on the
Grand Strand), The Coral Beach, The SandCaslte South, and the The Crwon Reef. Of
these, the place that had a vacancy and looked most appealing to me was the
SandCastle South (there is a SandCastle resort that is located north of central
Myrtle Beach whereas the SandCastle South is two miles south.)It also happended
to be the newest resort hotel on the Grand Strand. The travel agent I talked to
told me it had been open for only a year and I called the SandCastle twice to
talk to two different receptionists who also both told me it had been open for
only a year. In addition, they both told me all construction was complete (so
there wouldn't be any half complete swimming pools or construction mess). THE
SANDCASTLE SOUTH IS A VERY NICE RESORT HOTEL. It has an outdoor swimming pool,
lazy river(heated), and two hot tubs(whirlpools) that are hot!! There is also a
heated indoor pool and kids wadding pool. The place was immaculate. We were
there near the last part of the yearly spring break legacy so the city and the
beach were full. The SandCastle Resort had no vacancy but there was still plenty
of room around the pool and on the beach. OUR ROOM WAS VERY NICE. IT WAS CLEAN
AND WELL FURNISHED; EVERYTHING WAS BRAND NEW. TWO NICE TV'S, 3 QUEEN SIZE BEDS,
A FULL SIZE REFRIGERATOR, 4 BURNER STOVE, POTS AND PANS, KITCHEN UTENSILS, AND A
VERY LARGE MICROWAVE, AND EACH ROOM HAS TWO OF IT'S OWN A/C AND HEATERS WHICH
YOU CONTROL (and no I don't have an investment in the resort). Generally
speaking, the resorts closest to central Myrtle Beach (which I call the
Pavillion Amusement Part area) are older or much more run down because they have
been there for so long. They are probably cheaper would explain why there was
such a large concentration of teeny boppers in that area. There are tons of
places to stay in Myrtle Beach. There are also some very nice national chain
hotels within a mile from the beach (like the Hampton Inn on R17). If I were to
go back to Myrtle Beach and wanted to stay on the beach I would look into
renting a condo (there are just tons of them in between the resort hotels and
they looked pretty nice). If I were to stay in a resort hotel, I would try The
Crown Reef. It is huge and very elegant. One day while walking on the beach
behind it, my girlfriend and I walked up into their patio pool area and it was
nice! It was just as clean as the SandCastle South, just bigger and more
elegant. A big plus about staying at the SandCastle South or the Crown Reef is
that they are about 2.5 miles south of central Myrtle Beach where all the older,
cheaper places are which is where the concentration of youths hang out. I don't
know if it was becuase we were there during the spring break season but at 3
o'clock in the morning, there had to be a thousand or more teenagers walking and
driving up and down ocean blvd. everynight. It was a big crusing scene where a
mile of "decked out" cars would slowly drive up and back the Pavillion Area
playing loud rap music. I would have hated staying in a resort in that area. The
Yachtsman looked like a really nice place, but it is in the heart of that mess.
We didn't find the attractions in the Pavillion Area worth stopping for. We did
vist Ripley's Believe It or Not which we didn't care much for either. Atleast
not what we payed to get in. THE BEST ATTRACTION AT MYRTLE BEACH IS BROADWAY AT
THE BEACH. Lots of good restaurants, little unique shops, as well as Ripley's
Aquarium and the IMEX Theatre. We thought Ripley's Aquarium was the neatest
attraction in the city (it has a huge tank that you walk under which contains 6
or more adult sharks!!!) and an area that allows you to touch sting rays,
skates, and baby sharks. IF YOU GO TO MYRTLE BEACH, GO TO RIPPLEY'S AQUARIUM.
The IMEX theatre was also worth visiting but being from Cincinnati where we have
an IMAX theatre (similar to the IMEX but bigger and better) it wasn't as
impressive as the aquarium. BAREFOOT LANDING is also worth visiting (no you
don't walk around barefoot on sand or anything - it's just a name) and is
similar to BroadWay at the Beach but not nearly as large or elegant. YOU COULD
EASILY SPEND AN ENTIRE DAY AT BROADWAY AT THE BEACH!!!! NEGATIVES ABOUT MYRTLE
BEACH - There were too many teenagers that played loud music and drove like
complete idiots. The people there we felt were generally arrogant and traffic
was often at a standstill (except farther south where we were staying). There
didn't seem like there were as many police as there should have been. There is a
restaurant on every corner and it was nearly impossible to go to one during the
dinner hours without having to wait half and hour. Make reservations if you can.
Also, check around and see if people recommend a place that has good food. We
didn't have a good dinner any night we were there. I'm sure there is good food
in Myrtle Beach, you just need to find it. The beach was very shelly, meaning
you needed some sort of sandle to get out past the first fifteen feet without
saying several four letter words. PARKING GARAGES AT THE RESORTS ARE TIGHT!!!
The garage at the SandCastle South had more than enough spaces, they were just
small as well as the garage itself. The other resort's garage's looked cramped
as well. Try not to plan on bringing your biggest vehicle if you are parking in
a resort hotel!!! POSITIVES ABOUT MYRTLE BEACH - It is a close Florida!!! Prices
for everything was very reasonable. Despite all the shells on the beach, it is
still a nice beach. Good surf if you like the waves. The sun was very warm and
the weather was beautifull. An absolute ton of plays to swing golf clubs and
lots of places to play miniature golf. There is alot to do in Myrtle Beach and
would be a great spot for a family vacation. I would enjoy going back to Myrtle
Beach Again!!!!!!!!
Ocean Club, Sands Resorts - hasanyone ever stayed there? We have temp
reservations and are waiting to hear comments. Would like to know if it is
centrally located or if the beaches are nice. Any info would be helpful, never
been to Myrtle! Thanks
4/14/99. Spent 4 great days at the beach. The weather was excellent 75 plus each
day. Played Legends Heathland which was in great shape and a good first course
as it's wideopen. The Wizard was great, the greens are large and in great
condition. The finishing holes are beautiful and very challenging. DO NOT play
Belle Terre!!! It is not worth the money. The course was not in good shape and
was not any fun to play. We finished up at Heather Glen and loved it. The course
is beautiful and well maintained. If you want good Mexican food (try the
poppers) go to the Burro Loco on bypass 17.
Ref.Bar Harbour Resort info.req.-We're planning our first family vacation to MB

Can you tell me what the weather is generally like at Myrtle beach? We do not
have children in school, so we plan to come either in May, 1999 or September,
1999. We want to enjoy the ocean - is it warm enough in May? How about in
September - is that hurricane season there??? Thank - you!! Annie McKinley =20
Can anyone tell me the annual Biker Week is held in Mrytle Beach??? I attended
the event last year in May, but I can not for the life of me figure out what
weekend it was!!! If you can help, Please, Plaese, Plaese, e-mail me @ T_Mickey@webtv.net
And also if you know of any reasonable priced hotles on the strip to stay in
plaese include the name. Thanks
My first time ever seeing the ocean was going to Myrtle Beach. It was a bad time
here, I was in a serious depression, my family was falling apart, my grades were
slipping, I was all messed up on drugs, it was bad. Well, I canna say that it
was Myrtle Beach really, that helped me, but rather just the ocean. LOL, we had
a hard time getting into a hotel...we had made reservations at a really nice
place, and when we got there, they said we had to be 25 to get in (be very
careful when planning, everyone) Well, luckily, we found a place (i dunna member
the name) that took us tho we were only 18. We didn't get to stay the amout of
time we had initially planned, and it rained the whole time we were there, but we
had a blast anyway. Well, back to my initial point, I sat on the balcony of the
room (we HAD to get ocean front room) and lol, since i smoke, and my best friend
doesnt, i had to go out there to smoke. so i was out there quite a bit. i would
jsut sit there, and think, staring out at the ocean. ..somehow, something
changed. WHen I came home (i live in Illinois) i was calm, changed. But my
overall favorite memory...was one night, around midnight, when the rain had
stopped temporarily, and the moon was full, her and I walked down to the beach,
and waded in the water a bit, talking of life, death, and everything in between.
Looking up at the moon over the water was one of the most moving experiences in
my life. Ive babbled enough now, just wanted to share. Sweetest dreams, waking
or no... for the waking are often best Wen

looking for accomadations for 16 people. We are looking to go in June.
Does anyone know public transportation that would run from Mytle Beach Airport
to Charleston, SC or Mt. Pleasant suburb of Charleston on Route 17? Bus, train,
lemo/van, shuttle, plane, I cannot drive (broken ankle) so cannot use rental car
as have done in the past. Thanks and appreciate your email to bschatham@aol.com
WE ARE LOOKING FOR A HOUSE TO RENT FOR OUR FAMILY. IT SEEMS THAT I CAN NOT LOCTE
ANY OF THE REAL ESTATE COMPANIES THAT MANAGE RENTALS FOR HOME OWNERS ON THE NET.
DO YOU KNOW OF ANY WEB SITES BY REALTORS THAT ARE ON THE WEB FOR RENTALS? WE

I am planning a trip with my son and husband to Myrtal Beach in July, 1999. We
currently are scheduled to stay at the Landmark Resort. I would appreciate
anyone giving us any information on a stay that they might have had there. I
would appreciate any information.

tripps at broadway at the beach ask for john a tall blonde man he's the best and

dogs?
Me and my husband and three daughters are planning a trip to Myrtle Beach in
July. I cannot wait to go, I really could use a vacation. We went there last
year and had a ball accept for the motel we stayed at. We stayed at the Budget
Inn and it was terrible. We woke up with cockroaches crawling on the counters
and in cups. It was so nasty I will never stay there again. This year we are
staying at Tropic House Motel. We don't know anything about it either so if
anyone does please e-mail me and give me the scoop on the place before I get
there. Also, if you know of any nice places that are reasonable in price for
future reference please let me know. Thanks!
We will be heading for MyrtleBeach in one week for our 6th year. We are a family
of 6 and we always take a friend along. We have always rented from Condo-World
in North Myrtle Beach. They have the best rates of any of the rental places and
their condos are fantastic. Greatpeople work there and they treat you super. We
enjoy Barefoot Landing and Broadway at the Beach and the uotlet stores on 501.So
much to do and see in MB. I enjoy golfing with friends that also go each year,
but we are finding that their rates are becoming outrageous. It costs as much
for 6 rounds as it does for a membership for the year up here. Great places to
eat are T-Bonz, Outback Steak House, and the Outrigger. My wife got gift
certificates for T-Bonz and Outback for me as Christmas gifts! Cant wait to use
them. We willeventually retire to the MB area. As soon as we arrive we will be
making our reservations for 2000. Jack Armstrong
I have been to Myrtle Beach for seven of the last eight years. We always stay at
Condotels at one Ocean Place. These are luxurious condos with three bedrooms,
three bathrooms, a full kitchen, a dining room, a living room, a full balcony, a
washer and dryer, a dish washer, and daily maid service.....all in your own
condo. It is very relaxing. Like moving your home to the Beach. I recommend to
anyone who would like to be able to relax kind of peacefully during the day and
be only minutes from thousands of things to do at night, and, just like any
other place in the Grand Strand area it is only minutes from gobs of golf
courses. I would highly reccomend this place to anyone. You get a GREAT place.
As for eating. A couple of places have become paticular favorites of mine. My
favorite restraunt of all time anywhere is T-Bones. Located South of Myrtle
Beach about 10 minutes or so. It is very important to remember that it is
T-BONES NOT T-BONZ. They have both places there and T-BONES is the one I am
talking about! For seafood I have taken a sever loving to Drunken Jack's. It is
SOOOOO GOOD! Other places I have enjoyed include Thouroughbreds, Rossi's,
Dick's, Hard Rock, and All star Aports Cafe. Whatever your pleasure, Myrtle
BEach is the best place I have ever traveled too, and trust me I have been a lot
of places!
My husband, two children (ages 9 & 10) and I will be vacationing in Myrtle Beach
in Aug 99. We are looking for a CLEAN, INEXPENSIVE oceanfront efficiency. We
would like a resort with a lazy river and restaraunt on the premises. Would
appreciate any info and/or coupons. THANKS!!
I would greatly appreciate some information on golf myrtle beach style. I am
considering a golf vacation in myrtle beach the last week of April or first week
in may. I am interested: 1. the top 3-5 best golf school/instruction available
where there would be both instruction and play? Golf levels are for beginners
and advance golfers. 2. the top 3-5 resorts accommodations : beach, spa etc.
Thanks Much and Best Regards, Mary Jane V. mvesey@us.oracle.com
We are a family of four with children ages 12 & 9 looking for a nice hotel,
ocean front, that will accomidate a small 8 lb. dog. He is very well trained and
will be with us most of the time that we are out of our hotel room. If anyone
has information or suggestions for us it would be greatly appreciated. The time
frame we intend to visit will be July 8-14 1999. Thanks again
Is the Beach Colony Resort any good to stay at or is it not worth the time? Also
would you recommend any nice Hotels for me. I am looking for a room that 6 can
stay at with a kitchen and T.V. Thanks Jaclyn From Hampstead, MD.
Camped in MB last year and loved it. Decided to stay in a motel and picked
Bluewater Resort this year. Now I see some comments from a couple of years ago
with bad reports. Anybody else have any information?
Several families are planning a trip to MB in June. Would like to get some
feedback on A PLACE AT THE BEACH on Shore Drive. Also, what sorts of things are
near that area in the way of resturants, shopping and family entertainment?
Thanks for your comments. Karen
I am a college student looking for a good place to stay for a group of students.
I am having a hard time finding information on places that will rent to
students. We aren't picky, just something relatively inexpensive and close to
the action. Any insight would be appreciated.
This is our 3rd trip to MB,we have satyed at a friends before, they sold so we
were only able to find an place called Caravan, does anyone know about this one,
it is off the beach and cheap.Friendly over the phone, helpful. so hopefully ok.

Hello My friends and I are taking a one week vaction to Myrtle beach at the
begining of june. We would like information on places to visit that offer
swimming with dolphins. thank you so much, gibsonam@salem.kent.edu
During August of 1998, My friends Heather, Ashleigh, and I went to a Third Eye
Blind Concert at the House of Blues. Before going there however, we had a
delightful dinner at Dick's Last Resort. The waiters were very interesting and
one of them even gave my friend Heather their phone number. From there we went
to the concert which was a lot of fun. Ashleigh got a taste of crowd surfing,
and afterwards we got to meet the band. It was a great experience and I'm hoping
to go back to Myrtle Beach in the Summer of 1999.
We stayed at the Crown Reef resort and were not pleased. They need to do
someting about the plumbing. When you run the shower it causes the pipes to
vibrate, it sounds like a drill. We actually thought someone was working on the
place. By the way this was Feb into beginning of March 1999. We were on a golf
package. The room was so dirty. There were even toenail clippings around the bed
and something very disgusting on the carpet! Also roaches! I killed 4 baby ones
and my husband didn't tell me till we got home (so I would'nt freak out)that he
had seen full grown ones in the kitchen sink. They also only have three floors
that are non-smoking. So it's really hard to get a non-smoking room. This is a
really nice hotel but they better start cleaning the place better.
Last summer, a group of co-workers and I ,along with our children ages 3-12
decided to come to Myrtle Beach together. We stayed at the Landmark Resort, and
it was wonderful! One friend has a 9 year old son with spinal bifida, and the
staff treated him so kindly. We had a wonderful stay, and would recommend it to
anyone traveling with children.
We stayed at the SEA PLAMS it was a nice place! So nice WE are going back for
SPRING BREAK and SENIOR WEEK!
this will be our third year at mb for biker week. we always have a great time
and never want to leave. we have stayed at the palace resort on the south side
and have found it to be very comfortable and affordable. we have two children
and they also have enjoyed it greatly.for anyone who has children i highly
recommend the alligator park, dixie stampeade, and planet hollywood. '97 AND '98
have been great at mb we hope '99 will be so as well........p.s. call the
chamber of commerce for a complete guide to resort and hotel accomadations.
I am going to stay at the Beverly Motel. Could you please find some information
on this motel for me.Such as if it is run down or not. Thank you very much.
CAN YOU PLEASE SEND ME A CATALOG OF THE DIFFERENT HOTELS AND MOTELS IN MYRTLE
BEACH MARILYN KENNEDY 1505 WALTON AVENUE J BRONX NY 10452
My family & I stayed at a beautifully & Very Clean 2 BR condos located on
Cypress Bay Golf Course at THE GARDENS. It was a very peaceful & relaxing
vacation. Since we were only minutes from the beach, we could enjoy the day at
the beach or the attractions of the Grand Strand, and then return to relax by
the pool. I also found the rates very reasonable. If this is the type of
vacation you are looking for with no hassel, you can call the owner at
1-800-397-9565.
Hi - My family and I will be traveling to Myrtle Beach and have plans to stay at
the Sea Mist. I would like to know any comments, good or bad that someone may
have regarding this place. Thank you!
March 09, 1999 We are planning a vacation to Myrtle Beach this summer - looking
for any information good or bad about the SEA CREST Resort
I am planing to go to MB and I would like to what the prices are like to play
golf. I am looking to go up for 3-4 days with a foursome and I was wondering how
much it would be for room and board to play about four times.
Hi I've been living in myrtle beach for 12 years now (or most of it) and Myrtle
Beach is definitely, without a doubt, the best place to vacation to. The parks
are incredible, so are the nightclubs, especially the Pavilion, 2001, oh the
list goes on and on. For adult nightlife, dancing, and such you MUST go to 2001,
a nightclub in North Myrtle Beach near Ultrazone Lazer Tag. For family fun, the
BEST place in the entire tri-county area is Paradise Skating Rink, located next
to the SuperWalmart. This may not seem like relative information to you, but
there is only 1 walmart in myrtle beach, 1 in north myrtle beach, you figure it
out. I can't stop myself when I go on and on about Myrtle Beach. If you are
looking for shopping, DO NOT go to Barefoot Landing ($$$$!) though their theme
is pretty nice- GO TO BROADWAY AT THE BEACH!!!!! This is the best part of Myrtle
Beach; at one end you have IMAX, a movie theater with a 6 story screen, across
from IMAX (a hop skip and a jump, literally. No cars in this zone allowed!) is a
Putt-putt course that has it's own GIANT FIRE BREATHING dragon, Every tuesday
they have a HUGE fireworks show, also Ripley's Aquarium (simply the
best...period.) which has an entire mile of underwater tubing that you can see
exotic aquatic life- AHHH! I can't stop typing! And there's a Hard Rock Cafe, a
giant nightclub center called Celebrity Square, over 200 shops, and this is all
at broadway at the beach! Next to broadway is THe Palace, Nascar Speed park (a
themepark), Nascar Cafe, All-Star Cafe, Myrtle Square Mall, Myrtle Beach
Convention Center, 2 Shopping centers, Barnes and Nobles Superstore, Toys R Us
superstore. Well my hands are tired so I'll stop now. Thank you CP
I am planning a trip to myrtle beach the summer of '99 staying at the Sea Crest
Oceanfront Resort. Anyone with information on the this resort Please let me know
?
ISLAND GREEN COUNTRY CLUB is the place to rent for your vacation. It is on 707
in Surfside Beach. My best friend and her husband had a condo there for 12 years
for their vacations, then they built their retirement home there. (Beautiful) I
rented a condo there in 1995, and loved it sooooo much I bought a 2 bedroom
condo. Island green has a great amen. center (olympic size pool, sauna, hot tub,
weight room, exercise room, craft classes, outside tennis, outdoor pools,
clubhouse and 27 holes of golf. Kids club on Sundays for kids in amen. center.
If you want to know more about Island Green, E-mail me.I'll tell you everything
to do in Myrtle Beach. We go down from NJ Easter, summer, and Christmas, so I
know the best things to do each season. We never want to leave to come home.

Building is plain on the outside, don't let it fool ya, YUMMMMMM... River city

A few co-workers and freinds, about 5-6 of us, are planning a trip May 9-15. We
are looking for a nice beachfront, and we do emphasize beachfront, condo with a
min. of 2 bedrooms. We are interested in the South Myrtle Beach area. NONE of us
golf - so we'd like to stay clear of that area. We're looking to have a lot of
fun and relieve some stress from work. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
My wife and I are visiting MB on April 2 threw 10 and would like to know of a
place to stay on the beach with a kitchenette at a reasonable price? Thanks
Dennis Cormier
Myrtle Beach is amazing. There is SO much to do. I have to say that I think that
one of the best things is just laying on the beach. It's so relaxing. And in my
case...you may even meet someone really special. I went in the summer of 98. The
Pavilion was a blast! We spent two evenings there...and we still didn't ride or
see everything. A really good place to eat is Crabby Mike's!! I could go on
forever and ever about how wonderful Myrtle Beach is....but you have to go to
experience it for yourself. I loved it so much...I am using it as persuasive
speech in one of my college courses!
We (2 couples) are planning to visit Myrtle Beach late June or first part of
July for a week & would like to have info. on condos, golf, dining, bingo games,
etc. The two men are golfers, wives are not. Please send info to: Mrs. Nancy
Jones 3914 Saxon Dr. St. Louis, MO 63125 Thank you!
We are going to Myrtle Beach in Spring 1999 and are staying at the Coral Beach
Resort. Does anyone have any info on this resort? Is it hard to get to the strip
from there? We will have 2 teens and then 4 kids anywhere from 12-1. Is the
trolley convenient? in case someone in our party wants to go somewhere else.
There will be about 10 in our party.
We are planning on visitiong Myrtle Beach or North Myrtle beach this July. We
have a 14 year old daughter and a six year old daughter. We are looking into The
Beach Cove Resort in N Myrtle and the Coral Beach or the Crown Reef in Myrtle
Beach. Any comments on where our 14 year old will meet the most teenagers at our
resort will be helpful. We would really like to stay at Beach Cove, but are
afraid all the teenagers will be in Myrtle Beach. If you could please give me
any input on these 3 places, please contact me asap. We are wanting to make
reservations soon. Your help is appreciated. We have stayed in Myrtle Beach
before at Captain's Quarters but were not at all impressed with this place.
Thanks again!
What is the requirements to get married in Myrtle Beach?I'm coming down in April
& want to get married there. Can you tell me what I'll have to bring or do once I
get there.
Me and a few of my friends will be graduating this year. We are planning a
vacation to Mrytle Beach for Senior Week.(June 7th 1999-June 14th) We are
staying at Bermuda Sands and we would love to hear from someone who has stayed
there so we can know what to expect when we get down there. Also, we would like
to know of any interesting places to visit. All comments will be apprechiated.
Thanks.
going to m. beach for may bike rally..looking for hotel with secured parking or
parking in front of room for bike and trailer.... any suggestions?????? would
like it to be a nice hotel and very clean.
OUr first family visit to myrtle beach was my first visit and that was in 1995.
We had a wonderful time. I grew up in North Carolina and the beaches there then
I moved to Md. Had not been down south for al least 14 years. Loved MB as soon
as we arrived. One word of warning do not stay at the SeaMist. That was
horrible. Ugly rooms, noise that security would not do anything about and so on.
Our last visit we stayed at the Sand Dunes-very nice especially if you have
children. The kids club gives parents a chance to relax!! The best places to
visit in our opoinion is Barefoot Landing, Alabama Theater, Broadway at the
beach and the NASCAR Cafe! Oh and for those of you who have ever been a server
in a restaraunt you have got to go to DICK's Last Resort to eat, do not expect
polite service or fancy dishes, this is the place for those who like to have fun
and have a good sence of humor! For those of you that love seafood go to
Benjamins Calabash so much food so little time! And the prices are great
(compared to prices in Maryland and surrounding areas). I was so impressed with
the area and the people that in a couple of years we will be moving there. July
of this year (1999) will be our third trip and I can't wait and neither can our
kids ages 9 & 4! Look out Mrytle Beach here we come again!
Some friends and I are planning a trip to Myrtle Beach for spring break during
the first week of April '99. We've made reservations at the Helms Vista Motel in
N. Myrtle Beach. I would appreciate any comments from anyone who has stayed
there before.
2/99 - My husband and I are thinking of going to Myrtle Beach this summer for a
vacation. In looking for a place to stay, we came across the Longview Motel at
201 South Ocean on the internet. It's an affiliate of the WindSurfer Resort.
Does anyone have any info on this place?
We haven't been to Myrtle Beach for a few years. We have a daughter that is 14
and a daughter that is 6. We are looking for somewhere (a nice resort) where our
14 year old will meet plenty of kids her age. We've heard that North Myrtle is
the place to stay now, but we really like to be within walking distance of all
the action. If anyone could give me the name of a nice-family oriented resort
(with an oceanfront pool) in Myrtle Beach, please let me know. We've stayed at
Captain's Quarters and were not at all impressed with anything other than the
pool. We've been thinking of the Patricia Grand, but I'm not sure I like the
pool setup. We have also been looking in to the Sea Watch (new tower) but are
unsure if we would like the location. If anyone has information, or comments on
my concerns, please e-mail me. I need to be making reservations. We've also
looked at Beach Cove and Long Bay. Please contact me with info. Thanks>> Bev
to anyone who is listening, we are heading down to MB in march and are doing a
package deal througheither condotels, golftrek or carolina golf. the places they
list to stay are the unknown to me. if you could reply and reccomend either the
surf and dunes, mb resort or anything else. also recommendation on any og the
non surcharge course would be nice, or surcharge courses that are worth it.
thank you and please give me some ideas....nathan durick
We stayed at Captains Quarters on Ocean Blvd. The staff was very helpful when I
made reservations. The hotel had nice, clean rooms with daily maid service. We
stayed for 5 nights during the "off season" for a very very reasonable rate with
a 20% discount. The only bad comment I have is that the trade off for going
during the off season is that your choice of things to do is limited. I would
suggest to anyone going in and wanted to see some of the shows to make sure you
go in on a Thursday, as the shows are only open on Friday or Saturday, if at
all.
My family of five, children ages 6, 4 and 2, will be travelling to Myrtle Beach
in late June for one week. We are looking for some "expert" advice on where to
stay. We would like something in the $100 - $130 price range that is oceanfront
or ocean view. We would need kitchen, laundry and pool facilities. Thanks in
advance for your help.
Our family is going to Myrtle Beach for spring Break. Currently we have plans to
stay at the San-a-Bell. If anyone has stayed there before please let me know.
Hi! Me and two of my friends are going to MB for Senior Week. We are looking for
a cheap place that is clean and close to the main strip (in walking distance)
Please e-mail any information to me if you know any place like this. Thanks a
bunch!!
Would like to rent a trailer or summer villa at a campground. Either Lakewood,
Pirateland, or Apache are considerations. Does anyone have comments on renting
trailers at any of these campgrounds?
MY FRIENDS AND I WOULD LIKE TO SPEND SPRING BREAK I MRYTLE BEACH BUT WE'RE
HAVING A HARD TIME FINDING A PLACE THAT WILL RENT TO STUDENTS. THERE WILL
DEFINATELY BE 4 OF US, MAYBE 6. WE'RE NOT DRINKERS AND ARE ALL OVER 21. CAN
ANYONE SUGGEST A PLACE TO STAY? ATLANTIC PARADISE WILL GIVE US A ROOM, HAS
ANYONE BEEN THERE?? THANKS BRIAN AND FRIENDS
We have stayed at several places in Myrtle Beach over the Years. The Boardwalk
on Ocean Blvd. was clean but not fancy. It was combined with a couple of other
hotels so you had a choice of pools. Parking near your room was sometimes hard
to find. The Serendipity Bed and Breakfast on 72nd Avenue was very nice and
quiet. The rooms were well decorated and each had a private bath. Breakfast was
fruits, fresh breads and bagels, cereal, juice, and fresh coffee. Heron Pointe
Condos were very spacious, two or three bedroom (third bedroom was a loft) about
a 10 minute walk to the beach. Complex had an indoor pool and hot tub that the
kids enjoyed more than the ocean. Arcadian Dunes Condos were the most homey.
Lots of windows, on-site restaurant, tennis courts Large bedrooms. Very quiet
complex and from building #4 only a five minute walk to the ocean. Have a ball!
has anyone gone on a fishing charter with capt. dick? if so how was it? and is
it worth the money? also we have never been to myrtle beach and we are going the
first weekend in may and have reservations at the beach cove resort, can you
please tell me good places to eat and things to do? we wil be taking our
granddaughter who is 2 yrs. old. thanks for your help, becky
I live in the outskirts of M.B. and work there and a peice of advice for

I have been all over the web just looking for some info on Shelling in Myrtle
Beach. I mean, it is a shore line beach and therefor there should be the
shelling activity. Right?? I know it won't in any way come close to the shelling
at Sanibel Island but I'm sure it can be done. Will someone please help me with
your wisdom from experience of being down there before? Please e-mail me as I
may not be able to check back and find any answers. Thanx Eeyore8961@aol.com

would be helpful. Thank you.
We will be visiting Myrtle Beach this summer ('99) for the first time. We have
been looking at staying at the Beach Cove Resort or the Crown Reef Resort. We
were wondering which one of these two resorts would be the best. From the
brochures, they both look very nice, but brochures can be deceiving. Also, which
of the two has the better location? Any info would be helpful, thanks.

9, and triplet daughters, who will be 1 1/2. We are looking at staying in Garden
City, in either the Water's Edge, Royal Garden Resort, or Surfmaster II. Does
anyone have any experience with these condos? Any input greatly appreciated -
with little kids, inconveniences can ruin a vacation! Thanks! Karen
I am submitting this on behalf of an 83 yr. old neighbor that does not have
computer access. Windsurfer Hotel I wanted to stay for two weeks, and got such
great service I stayed for a little over three weeks. The rooms were very clean,
(I stayed in the Annex) and all the people were very friendly and helpful. I
even met the owner while I stayed, and both he and his wife couldn't have been
friendlier. The rooms were of higher quality than those of other hotels I have
stayed at, for a better price, and I would highly recommend The Windsurfer Hotel
to anyone visiting Myrtle Beach. I enjoy walking...one or two miles a day, and
found The Windsurfer close to everything I wanted to see. I found all the staff
helpful in answering all questions I had about Myrtle Beach. I will be returning
to The Windsurfer in May 99, and have made reservations already. Keep up the
good work Windsurfer. Joan from Northern Virginia
We are staying at the Beach Colony . We have 2 fifteen year olds and 2 twelve

the Sea Mist Ammons Family Resort on South Myrtle Beach.
We are looking for an oceanfront home to rent the weekend of July 24. We need 2
bedroom, two queen size beds, d/w, w/d, central air, and nice deck...we want NC,
SC and prefer south...we like the Topsoil, Holden beach, Long beach area and
prefer to stay away from very crouded areas like Nags Head/Murtle beach, but
could take an out of the way home. We have visited your area and are also
interested. We alse want to stay below 900.00/wk Thanks Jeanne Rochester
Does anyone have any info on the Carolina Winds and their swimming pools? I am
also taking my two kids golfing. They are ready for a small course. Is there any
Par Three or kids courses you would recommend? Will Graber

I plan on going to MB with a group of about 8 friends during senior week (first
week of June). We're staying at the SANDCASTLE. I've never been there and would
like to know what the accomodations are like. I have heard that during senior
week they really crack down on the kids staying there. If anyone knows anything
at all about this place, I'd really appreciate hearing about it. Thanks.
We will be visiting Myrtle Beach April 1999 for the 1st time. Any comments on
lodging at BOARDWALK ON THE BEACH? Would you say it's a clean enough place for
your kids to stay?
3DI'm in charge of putting together a first time trip to M.B. in March 1999 for
eight friends. I have a good price quoted on a package from PAM'S GOLF GETAWAYS.

would be at the BOARDWALK SURFRIDER. If you have any experience with any of the
cources, motel or "Pams" please let me know. We are trying to travel on a budget

3D My family visited myrtle beach in april of '98 and stayed at th= e Indigo Inn
on So. Ocean Blvd. we had stayed there before and it was pricey but convenient
to friends, Also avaialable at a late date. We learned why last Easter, they
were under construction, elevator was broken 5 out of 8 days and maids woke us
up to clean the room.(PHYSICALLY) would not recommend it to our worst enemy, no
amends were made either!!!We love the area golf and beaches especially Heather
Glen, Springmaid Pier, Murrels inlet Seafood and Waccamaw Pottery and outlets.

Anyone have any information on the annual bike week held in Myrtle Beach. I
believe it is around the first week or so in May. I am not talking about the
"Black Bike Week", just the regular... I guess it would be the "Harley Week". I
understand there were a lot of problems during the Black Week... I am not
interested in getting into a discussion about this but I have heard that the
merchants want to discontinue bike week and was wondering if this applies to all
"Bike Week" functions or just the one that caused all the turmoil? If there is
still a "Bike Week" being planned for '99, I would appreciate information as to
the dates. Thanks Bill, crazydog@msinets.com
I need information on the dates of the convention in May and schedule of events.
Thanks. NLCnurse@aol.com.

We just traveled to Myrtle Beach (Jan29-Jan31,99) And stayed at the patricia
grand. Let me tell you DON'T STAY HERE! we have 3 kids ages 4-4-5 and in the
room we found a hyperdermic needle. we called down to the desk and they said
they would get someone up to get it. we said not knowing what the needle was
used for and not knowing if there could be something taht would hurt the kids we
wanted another room. we had been in the room 1hr. they complained and said they
needle would not hurt anybody etc. but when i told them to refund my money they
found a room... they manager of the night was mad and said you did not need to
move and mess another room up. in the new room the door locks did not work./ And
get this the maid brought us back our own used towels.. we knew this because it
had red color on it. never once did anyone say how sorry they were about the
needle. and never once did someone say thank you for staying here. SO SAVE YOUR
VACATION DO NOT STAY THERE
I wanted to know about the college students that come to myrtle beach for

Would somebody know a phone number to get tee times not sold by the golf courses
.Going to MB in April99.
2-01-99 We have been going to Myrtle beach now for about 4 years and we have
stayed at different hotels everytime. We stayed at the Windsurfer which was very
reasonable price and had a great pool (indoor and out) great staff. David's
Landing was very reasonable priced too but they only have an outdoor pool and it
gets pretty chilly out there(there across the street too) Jonathen Harbour is a
great place to stay if you have a big group. They have all 2 room suites very
big and a great pool. We are now going again and we were wondering about the
Captains Quarters,or the Anderson Inn. Any info would be appreciated
Has anyone stayed at th Grand Strand Motel? There rates seem reasonable and it
looks decent. Is it OK? Is it close to area attractions? Thanks-------Lisa
Does anyone know much about the Peppertree Ocean Club condos? Will a one
bedroom, 1 bath be big enough for 4 men golfers? Is it clean and nice? Going in
June 1999.
3DWell I am a 15/f, I live in West Virginia and every year we make the 8 hour
trip to Myrtle Beach. I have been going to MB since I was 2, the drive isn't
very bad. Once we arive and get the key to our condo, we usually stay at
Pelican's Landing, we go settle in the go to Captian Benjamines for dinner. We
usually eat there at least 5 out of the 7 days we are there. One of our favorite
things to do is head over to the outlet malls on 501 or Barefoot Landing. The
putt putts are very entertaining, there is a wide varity to choose from. If it
happens to rain one evening and we can't go for a walk on the beach we head over
to the Briacliffe Mall and catch a movie. As always we will be going to MB again
this year ( June 26-July 3 ). Our condo is located right across from Ocean
Annies, for those of you who know where that is. I visited the Hard Rock Cafe
and Planet Hollywood, and needless to say I was not impressed at all. The crowds
were awful as were the prices. My alltime favorite thing would have to be Dixie
Stamped or The Gatlin Brothers, both very entertaining! One wonderful thing
about this years trip is I will be 16 and be able to go crusin' around without
my parents and I can go check out things more to my liking. If you want any info
about MB feel Free to E-mail me at, StaryGyrl@aol.com. See ya at the
B*E*A*C*H!=20
I hadn't went to Myrtle Beach since 1980 and finally in 92' with family of
three. First year went to Beachcomber (Nice small hotel and descent prices). One
year went to Flagship (OK place not nothing to brag about) and next year went to
Foxfire (don't really remember it). Since then, we have gone to the Ocean Plaza
1005 S. Ocean Blvd. Very nice hotel for a cheaper price. Very good prices at end
of Aug. Pretty nice staff and nice hotel rooms. Indoor and outdoor pool. 2 hot
tubs with indoor pool. Not to close to pavilion but a few blocks south of Family
Kingdom. Very good location. Restaurant wise, we really like Grandma's Kitchen
(close to pavilion). Good food and very nice people and very down home cooking.
Very good prices for breakfast and lunch buffets. Another way to offset prices
to have a good dinner at night is go to Sonic (drivein) on southend of Myrtle
Beach or go to Godfather's pizza during week lunch buffet. They have all you can
eat pizza and salad for a very low price. More expensive restaurants that are
extremely good is River City Cafe (good burger place and peanuts you through on
the floor); The Farm House (good home cooking little expensive but worth the
try, antiques all around you while you eat and it's buffet style). Farmer's
Daughter is another really nice restaurant, buffet styler, good home-style
cooking for around $12 an adult. If your not into seafood to much but want to
try it, there's a place toward North Myrlte Beach on the west side of the road
(don't remember what it's called) but it's really good for around $12 adult.
Calabash's are very expensive and my family isn't into the seafood thing for
that much of a cost which is about $17-$19/person TOO MUCH MONEY. Two more good
places are the Coutry Barn next to Waccamaw and Kirks Ice Cream Parlor across
from mall at 21st Street. Myrtle Beach is our favorite place to go and people
are so nice and friendly down there. E-mail me with any questions have at all
and I'll answer them as good as I can. We go to MB once to twice a year. Paula
Can I have the address of the Myrtle Beach Pelicans-----interested---please

staff was friendly (even to a teenager!) I also really enjoy the Carolina Opry
for excellent entertainment.

Hi! We have just booked a week at the Winds for this June. It is pretty
expensive that time of year. Can you tell me anything about the place? We are in
a 3 bedroom south condo. Anything you could tell me would be welcome as we are
first timers and still can cancel and stay somewhere else. Thanks! Diane in
Illinois
Looking for any comments people may have about the Coral Beach Resort. Rates
seem great, web site makes it look nice. Never been to Myrtle beach before, so I
have never seen the resort.
Hello, Local Bands On The Strand. Billy B at the Keyboard
Would like a schedule for the shows that will be appearing at the Myrtle Beach

We are looking to rent a condominium at Waterpoint II in July. If anyone has
stayed there, I would appreciate any comments. Thanks
Hi! I've been to Myrtle Beach many times, when I was younger, with my family,
but now that I'm 19, it's IMPOSSIBLE TO find a place to stay!! I wanted to have
a little 4 day vacation with a friend, but every place I have looked into
requires you to be at least 21 or 25. If ANYONE has any suggestions, please
email me at ScariettNC@aol.com. I really need your help! Thanks :)

Two years ago I stayed at the Hilton located just north of Myrtle Beach. I have
since been informed that the Hilton is no longer there. My question is, has
another hotel replaced the Hilton? Any info would be appreciated
Can anyone tell me anything about the Lighthouse Motel??? A friend of mine and
myself are planning a trip to the beach in June and are thinking about staying
there. Please e-mail me with any comments, good or bad!
Hi, we are planning our first family vacation and have chosen Myrtle Beach. The
only time of the year we can go is 2/12-2/18. We are bringing a 6 mo old, 2, 3,
5 and possibly a 17 yr old. A few questions: What is the ave. temp there at this
time of the year. Should I be looking at a place with indoor pool? Is the
aquarium open at this time of the year? Any fishing access with the kids
available?? Some of the places we have looked at are Sands Beach Club, Bar
Harbor, Richmond Park, Waterpointe I, Laurel Pointe, Sea Watch Plantation, Beach
Club III, Sea Pointe, Xanadu III. Looking for a 2 RB/ kitch,w/d unit? Any
specific places to eat that are children oriented?? Is there any other
children's activities or parks that will be open this time of the year. Any
information will be greatly appreciated. 1/24/99
I'm planning a trip to Myrtle Beach in August 1999. I am looking for a nice
hotel that offers a children's program. Any suggestions? Please E-mail any
suggestions to melody444@juno.com.
We live only two hours from MB. We go several times a year. The chamber of
Commerce puts out a publication annually. I pick one or two up every year at the
visitors center. The name of the publication is Stay & Play in the Myrtle Beach
Area. It is fantastic. It has hotels and resorts listed in alphabetical order.
Showing a picture of each one. There is usually a price list and a small lay out
of the rooms. Most places have a toll free number to call for reservations and
general information. Also most places now list there web site. I agree the Sea
Mist has a lot lacking when it comes to there rooms. Most are small and stuffy.
Some rooms are very damp inside. I must say the water park is great. I have
stayed in may places from South Myrtle to North. Some of my favorite places are
The Crown Reef, The Landmark, The Sandcastle South, The Yactsman, The Patricia
Grand, Forest Dunes, The Patricia North, The Caravell, and The Long Bay Resort.
It all depends on if I am taking a group of kids, and the ages of the kids. If I
want to stay some where so I can walk almost every place I go, or if I am going
just to enjoy the pools and the beach. Which is usually the case. I could go on
and on but enough is enough. I love the beach. I always want to stay on the
ocean front. I already have the 99 pubication of stay & play. I can't wait to
check out the new places.
For a simple, neat and clean trip... . Start with staying at The Legends. Larry
Young knows what he is doing! Moorland, Heathland, Oyster Bay and Marsh Harbor
are all winners in the Legends group. I have not had the honor to play Parland
(yet). The Heritage Club stands out as a must play each time. While you're in
SC, might as well do yourself a favor and take on Tidewater. I can't say enough
good things. Larry won't mind. He knows a good thing when he sees it. 1/99
Has anyone stayed at the Breakers North Tower? We're very intersted in this
hotel, but would like some testimonial to cleanliness, etc. We're also
interested in Dayton House, as we know someone who goes back there every year
and is very happy with it. Any information would be appreciated!
I would like some information about the condition of the South Seas Ocean Front
Resort. So in you have been there or know somebody that has please e-mail me and
tell me how it was thanx David Yates
My husband and I, along with our 14 year old daughter and 16 year old son are
planning a trip to M.B. in June. The kids are hesitant about going because they
think it will be corny and there is nothing to do. I understand there are
outlets and they love to shop. Can someone suggest other things to do and let me
know what type of shops there are. thanks.
We are visiting Myrtle Beach in March and plan to stay at the Bluewater Resort.
After reading some negative things about it on Internet could anyone send me
some information both favourable or unfavourable . Thanks . E Mail address is

Hello Can you please tell me where or when I can find 1999 information for June
in the Myrtke Beach area. Thank you Jim Day
8 of us are planning to play golf in the Mrytle beach area on or around the 16th
of February and would like any or all information regarding golf packages, and
hotel, condo accomindations. tks, Robert
Went to Surfside beach in June of 98. Surfside was very nice. Not nearly as
croweded as MB. However, we rented a condo for 8 people and it was not at all
what we expected. It was very large, but it was dark, out of date, and furnished
from garage sales. We rented from Surfside Reality. We were very disappointed.
The condo was not even cleaned upon our arrival. The pool was very nice, right
on the ocean. We really enjoyed the uncrowded beaches there. We really are fans
of the Outer Banks, NC and we will be going back there next year. We won't be
returning to MB toooo commercialized!
We've got reservations for the "Beach Colony". Any comments?? Please help!
Several are coming and a good bit of money spent,so if you have info, please
advise!!1/23/99
Looking for a golf/lodging package for two families on a budget during first
week of April - Will be visiting Myrtle Beach for the first time. Also, we are
beginner golfers. Any contacts, numbers recommendations will be appreciated.
Our family visited Mrytle Beach July 1995. We stayed at a 2 bedroom townshouse
owned by some friends of ours. It was great. We are going back this year
7/17/99. While we are there we will be looking for a condo to invest in. This is
the place we have chosen to retire at when we reach retirement age. Our teenage
sons said to make sure you check out Wild Water and Wheels water park. They had
a blast there. Also, to make sure you purchase a boogy board for the ocean. They
also enjoyed that. If anyone knows of any condo's to rent in the Deerfield
Plantation Complex Surfside Beach area we are looing for 2 more condos that have
2/bedrooms for family members who also want to go with us when we go in July 99.
Please e-mail to my e-mail address. Thank you.
I love Myrtle Beach!! Went four times in 1998. Am planning on going back in Feb
for my birthday and in July with friends. And I'm sure I'll be back in between
those times, also. We stay at the Yachtsman. It is very nice. One of the
cleanest I've seen. I enjoy shopping at the Gay Dolphin and Broadway at the
Beach is fantastic!!! Fuddruckers has the best food!! Can't wait to see the
ocean!!! 01/22/99
OUR FAMILY VISITED MYRTLE BEACH IN JUNE OF 98. IF THERE IS A VACANCY, WE ENJOY
STAYING AT THE ROYAL INN. THE MANAGEMENT IS REALLY NICE. THE ATMOSPHERE IS VERY
FRIENDLY. ROOMS ARE DELIGHTFUL. THIS IS A ALTOGETHER PERFECT PLACE TO STAY.
CAROL MITCHELL UNION, S. C.
I HAVE BEEN VISITING MB FOR THE LAST SIX YEARS AND LOVE IT. I CANNOT GO A SUMMER
WITHOUT GOING. WE STAY EVERY YEAR ON SHORE DRIVE AT THE NORTHERN END OF MB. IT
IS QUITE BUT FUN. THERE IS OCEAN ANNIES AND THE SAND BAR. WE ARE LOCATED ON
RESTURANT ROW AND ARE CLOSE TO BROADWAY AT THE BEACH AND BAREFOOT LANDING. MY
FAVORITE PLACE TO GO IS TO DICK'S LAST RESORT. ANYONE WHO GOES TO MB MUST GO TO
DICK'S. YOU'LL SEE WHY WHEN YOU GO. I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS WITH OUR RESERVATIONS
WHICH ARE BOOKED THROUGH ENDLESS SUMMER VACATIONS/SLOAN REALTY. WE ALWAYS STAY
IN A CONDO AND THE PRICE IS FROM $625 TO 525 FOR THE ENTIRE WEEK. WHERE ELSE CAN
YOU GO FOR THAT PRICE. I LIVE IN NJ AND TO RENT A BEACH HOUSE AT THE LOUSY
JERSEY SHORE IS AROUND $1500 TO $2000 A WEEK. TOTALLY NOT WORTH IT. I WOULD
RECOMMEND ANYONE MB. ITS MY FAVORITE PLACE TO BE AND WHEN IM THERE I HATE TO
COME HOME.

My husband and I are going to MB in June when school gets out. While I've seen
several positive comments about Captain's Quarters, I've also seen a few that
concern me. Is there anyone who has been there in the last year or so who could
verify whether they have/haven't renovated? Any additional comments about that
hotel or Ocean Drive Resort would be appreciated. (January 20, 1999)

Could anyone offer any comments on the Spinnaker in N. Myrtle Beach? Planning on
visiting in July, 1999. Haven't been to MB in years and don't know which section
is the best. Have two teenage sons, so we need some entertainment, but also some
quietness and not overly crowded beaches. Which section has the widest and
prettiest beaches? Any info. would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

1999. We would like to know where people have stayed, and where a good place
would be. If you have any information, please email it to me. Thank you very
much. January 14, 1999
Hey, this is Jan 99, and me and 5 other friends, all 17-18, are desperately
trying to find a beach house that will rent to teenagers. If ANYONE has any
information on a place that will rent to use, PLEASE e-mail me back ASAP.
Thanks.
After a few days of research on the net, I found the Beach Cove Resort to be the
best place for what I wanted at the most reasonable price. Unfortunately, when I
called to make a reservation, I was told that I could not get the price
advertised on the Web. The "correct price" was $14 more per night than what was
posted. Over a 5 night stay, $14 more per night is worth about another nights
stay. Back to the drawing board.
3D My friend and I plan to stay at the Sand Castle for beach week. Does anyone
know what it is like there. If you do, could you please e-mail me at Pitchcher@aol.com

My friends and I went last year 98 in February. theres eight of us.(our
handicaps are 14 through 21 ) we played Lions Paw which we though was really
nice. We played nine holes after on the same course and payed only the cart fee
and though that was great. We played Bay Tree Silver course .It was OK but the
greens needed a little work.We did like the pictures that were shot of us on the
first hole. This year in feb. of 99 were playing Lions paw again,River Hills, and
Burning Ridge E. course. As you can see we go on a low badget.and play on
nunsurcharge courses.I'd like hear from someone that has played other

our room and our stay when we are there. (Especially since we're right on
the beach.) Now we are excited to take our son with us for the first time.
He's gonna love it.

Patricia Grand: a beautiful hotel with many wonderful amenities and a great
warm and friendly staff!!
If anybody has a low very affordable rate on a 2 or 3 bedroom 2 bath. For april
5-10~ Condo, hotel room or cottage. Please include right by the beach. Also what
is there for a 15 year old to do?? Send any info to my E-mail!! Thank you
Windsurfer Hotel: First class, new hotel not listed
I visited mb last fall for a golf outing. The best place to eat was the sea
captains house right on the beach. A place that i do not reccommend is Sam
Sneads resturaunt. My wife and I waited 15 minutes just to get our cocktails!
The management and staff seemed extremely unknowledgable and not very courteous
as well. I ordered a prime rib medium rare and got it well done! But as I said,
the Sea Captains house was definately a dining experience! Lucious crabcakes
that just melt in your mouth. All in all, I wish they had a resturaunt like that
in Ohio!!!
SUPER 8 at BAREFOOT LANDING NORTH MYRTLE BEACH,SC----This is a great place to
stay--great rates and a great hotel. They said that they place was new for
'98---beautiful and comfortable rooms--large swimmimg pool and a great
continental breakfast. They also helped us out with show packages and golf
arrangements. My wife love the location for shopping--they are only 1 mile from
Barefoot Landing which has hundreds of shops and restaurants---even the House of
Blues and the Alambama Theatre. The staff was very friendly and helpful!!! We
are glad we stopped there. Their number is 843-913-3030.
We go to Myrtle Beach every summer and we have stayed in hotels, condos, and
even camped. Where ever we stayed we always have a great time. The restaurants
are great, the shopping is even better, and the golf courses are the best. We
plan to go again this summer. Last year we stayed at Myrtle Beach travel park,
can anyone recommend anouther one,can please e-mail back at BT1000@Gateway.net.
We stayed at the Sand Dunes over the New Years Eve weekend '99. The ocean front
suite was beautiful as well as fully euipped. The Flying Machine Steak House had
a wonderful New Years Eve Dinner and the oceanfront sports bar was a wonderful
place to sit and have drinks after dinner. All of the food and service was
exceptional. The staff were all extremely friendly and went out of their way to
make sure everything was perfect. With all the onsite restaraunts, facilities
and conveniences, we hardly had to leave the hotel. The perfect place for a get
away.
Lodging=Beach Cove Resort feedback= Beach Cove Resort: I liked staying there so
much that I bought a 2BR unit there. Love the location
I am looking for a house, condo, villa, etc. to rent in Myrtle Beach Sept. 4 -
12, 1999. We will have 8 people with us, and it must be on the beach. We have
stayed in North Myrtle before and like it, but another family oriented area
would be considered. Nothing fancy, just clean and affordable. Thanks, Heidi
(1/99)
Lodging=the poindexter url= feedback=the poindexter: this hotel was an absolute
piece of shit! we were planning to stay a week there, and i wouldn't of slept
there for even a night. the employees were rude and i would not suggest that
anyone give that place a penny of their money.
We would like to know what activities are going on in Myrtle Beach for the New
Years Eve Celebration 1999 to ring in the year 2000.
